Position: Senior Product Manager
Job Location: 640 W. California Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086
Duties: Drive the execution of multiple fulfillment solution and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; and removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance. Design user interaction prototypes utilizing supply chain software tools and technologies, and execute project planning and scheduling for promise and sourcing solutions within Wal-Mart’s technology operations. Drive alignment across multiple cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives by partnering with legal, finance, product development, marketing, site merchandising, project management, and third party partners; communicating with stakeholders on key business initiatives to ensure buy-in; and working with marketing and site partners to develop strategies. Use relevant business metrics, analyses, and reports to measure, monitor, and improve performance. Identify and apply sound, fact-based criteria in setting priorities and making decisions. Look beyond symptoms to determine the root causes of problems, and identify and implement applicable solutions. Integrate knowledge in making fact-based recommendations and decisions. Analyze data and information, and develop plans to exceed customer and member expectations. Sponsor initiatives and practices that provide customers and members with desired products, services, and experiences and that grow the business. Ensure customers and members receive the level of service that builds their trust and confidence. Remove barriers to delivering customer and member value, service, and support. Convey a sense of urgency in ways that motivate others to complete responsibilities and achieve goals. Pursue the achievement and alignment of measurable and meaningful goals. Leverage resources and talent to achieve business goals. Ensure others are held accountable for achieving expected results. Prioritize and balance time, actions, and projects to ensure accomplishment of results. Monitor progress of others and redirect efforts when goals change or results are not met. Develop and communicate logical, convincing reasons, including lessons learned, to build support for one's viewpoints and actions. Involve others in decisions and plans that affect them, when appropriate. Ensure business priorities, change initiatives, and organizational information are communicated in clear and compelling ways. This position does not supervise employees.
Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or the equivalent in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering (Any), or related area and 3 years of experience in product management; OR Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering (Any), or related area and 5 years of experience in product management.
Skills required: Experience designing product roadmaps and Product Document Requirements (PRDs) using Confluence. Experience building and managing product feature tickets using Jira. Experience designing business metrics and building virtualizations using Tableau and MicroStrategy. Experience analyzing product data using SQL and Microsoft (MS) Excel. Experience coding in object-oriented programming language: Python. Demonstrated knowledge of the fulfillment process. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
Salary Range: $122,779.00/year to $234,000.00/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
