The Senior Product Manager sits on the Membership Growth & Profile team in the Expedia Product & Technology division of Expedia Group. This team focuses on building and maintaining lasting impressions with travelers, from first-time users to loyal One Key members while also getting to know them through relevant prompts and personalization tactics. In this role, you'll mentor teams, integrate innovative business capabilities, and lead cross-functional efforts to actualize a data-informed, customer-centric product strategy. Your expertise will drive the creation of strategic roadmaps, foster influential stakeholder relationships, and elevate the travel experience through meticulous execution and visionary leadership.
In this role, you will:
Owns crafting the vision for profile completeness and preference capture and demonstrates ability to convincingly communicate & defend the narrative to stakeholders in a clear, concise, and compelling manner
Owns creation of a comprehensive and defensible strategic product roadmap that maps target outcomes and KPIs to delivery milestones
Skilled in storytelling, persuasion, negotiation, conflict resolution and driving organizational alignment and strategic product leadership through communication
Participates in engineering and architecture design and review processes to enable the long-term product vision and ensure solutions that limit future tech debt
Drives decision-making in ambiguous conditions in a way that drives profitability; can build financial valuations from existing or net new models independently and demonstrates the ability to size a product opportunity
Rapidly determines product performance through iterative experimentation and/or win-loss analyses; recommends strategies to optimize performance
Applies innovative design thinking to improve the overall approach to product experimentation, discovery, and design
Drives consistency and quality in documentation and translation of technical and product requirements across teams
Experience and qualifications:
You have 8+ years of experience as a Product Manager with a Bachelor’s degree, 6+ years of experience with a Master’s Degree or equivalent experience.
You have experience with Agile practices
You have experience working on AL/ML Products.
You have exceptional Communication and listening skills
You are familiar with data science principles and Scientific methods
You have strong Business acumen
You have experience Influencing Stakeholders
The total cash range for this position in Chicago is $161,000.00 to $225,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $257,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
