Senior Product Manager- Health care and Health Plan organization on East coast
Job Description Summary:
Coordinate and monitor the scrum process from initiation through delivery. Serve as liaison between the product owner, development team, and management in order to ensure that all targets and requirements are met. Ensure that team members understand project objectives. Maintain product backlog and release plan and facilitate productivity by setting up meetings and removing impediments that may obstruct the pursuit of the team's sprint goals. Preserve flexibility and ability to rapidly respond to changes.
Recognized as a subject matter expert and advanced individual contributor professional. Requires specialized skill set.
Conducts highly complex work, unsupervised and with extensive latitude for independent judgment.
Responsibilities:
Ensure the product and DevOps teams work together efficiently and effectively. Partner with development teams to guarantee high-quality product releases and maintain a reliable delivery process. Collaborate closely with the DevOps Center of Excellence (COE) to ensure that the product's Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) process is streamlined and optimized, adhering to organizational standards. Work closely with the development team to ensure that the product is delivered on time and within budget. Attend development meetings and Agile ceremonies to answer questions and eliminate roadblocks based on the needs of internal and external customers. Builds strong relationships with Initiative Owners (IOs) and business stakeholders to enable better communication, collaboration and understanding of (internal & external) customer needs. Collaborates with IOs and other business stakeholders in the definition of the Product Vision, Strategy, and Goals. Helps lead and guide the ARTs by providing the business/customer/product leadership perspective. In the Design and De-Risk phases of the 4D process, collaborates with IOs, Architects and others to translate business/user needs into visually and technically designed solutions. Accountable for progressive refinement and elaboration of Portfolio Epics into Features that meet the agreed Definition of Ready for PI Planning Accountable for defining and negotiating the portfolio of work, and the roadmap, for their Portfolio Epics, ensuring a balance between priorities and delivery capacity. Maintains alignment of the product roadmap to market releases in collaboration with the IO and business stakeholders.
