The Senior Product Manager is a key leader within Product Development, working with dedicated product teams to ensure that our products deliver against our customers’ unmet needs. They are responsible for collecting and analyzing a variety of data to help the product team determine what needs to be built and in what priority. They contribute to and execute product vision and strategy, which includes conducting feature research, running discovery sessions, writing user stories and owning the product backlog. They should have a talent for conveying a clear and compelling narrative and an enthusiasm for creating vital functionality, while striving to innovate and expand our market-leading product suite. This position requires commitment to exceptional results, a strong desire for continuous improvement and the ability to build strong relationships with a multi-discipline team.

Identify, define, and drive impactful customer outcomes consistently Evangelize customer problems and expected outcomes to VP/Director leadership and stakeholders to gain buy-in. Operate autonomously and proactively seeks out ambiguous and impactful customer problems Lead product strategy for multiple opportunities Develop a strong knowledge of our customers, our business, our competition, and the industry Regularly communicate with customers and internal stakeholders to get feedback on their wants and needs Collect and analyze a variety of data (e.g., industry, competitive, customer and stakeholder feedback) to identify key themes to determine customer value proposition (under guidance from Product Manager) and validate assumptions regarding product features Contribute to development and pressure testing of product vision and strategy Under guidance from Product Manager, propose product roadmap and leverages data to drive priorities and customer value. Conduct roadmap feature research with product designers Help set up customer validation testing of designs and run discovery sessions Write user stories in a manner clearly understandable to product teams. Begins to break down complex functionality into epics. Participate in all agile ceremonies Defines vision and strategy for product's marketing launch plan and own assigned components of the plan Regularly monitor utilization of released functionality, sharing data and trends with Product Manager to identify areas of opportunity and recommend ideas. Own product backlogs and PDRs, and provide impact analysis of client issues to determine priorityRequired Experience:
3+ years of experience in product management. 5+ years of experience in Payroll/Human Capital Management, preferably at a SaaS provider Deep domain expertise in payroll, benefits, time & labor or human capital management Experience working in an agile environment Data driven, with excellent problem framing and analytical skills Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills; you will need to develop strong relationships with software and software test engineers, operations, sales, marketing and other internal key partners Superior attention to detail with excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills Must be able to collaborate with team to encourage and motivate team members to produce and deliver on objectives Must be customer focused and outcome driven Must be data and insights driven Must be focused and able to think strategically and creatively Must be able to lead and guide a product’s lifecyclePreferred Qualifications:
In-depth understanding of WCAG, ADA, and global accessibility standards and regulations. Familiarity with assistive technologies such as screen readers, magnifiers, and voice recognition software. Experience with accessibility testing tools (e.g., Axe, Lighthouse, WAVE) and methodologies.
