Senior Product Manager

Introduction to the team 

Expedia Product & Technology builds innovative products, services, and tools to deliver high-quality experiences for travelers, partners, and our employees. As a Senior Product Manager on the Strategic Partnerships and Affiliates team, you will build products that power one of Expedia’s fastest growing segments: our B2B2C segment.  You’ll develop a technical platform that helps our partners (everyone from large scale financial services corporations to individual Instagram influencers) connect their audiences with Expedia inventory to drive bookings.  In this role,  you’ll need to establish deep technical expertise and interface with cross-functional team members in sales, business development, marketing, etc.  You’ll have the opportunity to mentor more junior members of the product team, and take on additional scope as you become comfortable in the role.   

In this role, you will:

Identifies and creates new opportunities to improve product in order to optimize the customer experience and grow EG value 

Ensures adoption and value delivery through collaboration with internal teams (e.g., Product Marketing, Sales, or Communications, as relevant); develops go-to-market and/or change strategies informed by a compelling value proposition for end users 

Rapidly determines product performance through iterative experimentation and/or win-loss analyses; recommends strategies to optimize performance 

 Collaborates across teams and functions to drive optimization of end-to-end user journeys for products or suites of products 

Sets product metrics to align with the product vision and is accountable for individual and team performance 

 Defines the metrics and models to tell stories that influence product decision-making and prioritization 

 Drives consistency and quality in documentation and translation of technical and product requirements across teams 

Owns milestone and release planning for large and complex projects, ensuring strategic alignment, cross-functional coordination, and proactive risk mitigation; drives a sense of urgency across teams 

​Experience and qualifications:

You have 8+ years of experience as a Product Manager with a Bachelor’s degree, 6+ years of experience with a Master’s Degree or equivalent experience. 

You have experience with full lifecycle product management (ideation, prioritization, execution and sprint planning, etc.).   

You have strong Business acumen and an interest in driving key business outcomes (revenue, incremental profit, etc.) 

You have experience working cross-functionally, both with deeply technical audiences (like engineering teams) and less technical stakeholders (marketing, sales, etc.) You have exceptional influencing and communication skills 

You are familiar with experimentation principles and have built technical or data products (e.g. data platforms, technical products, etc.) 

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $173,000.00 to $242,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $277,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
