About the Role
The Senior Product Manager for TalentLens will work cross-group to deliver products that help enterprises and public-sector businesses to assess the skills of their current and future workforce. They will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of our products, communicating a vision for their future, and driving them from conception to launch. To do this, they will work with engineering, design, analytics and research both within the Workforce Solutions division and cross-group with other divisions at Pearson. They will be comfortable being a spokesperson for TalentLens, showcasing the key value our products offer to customers. The role requires strong prioritization, creative thinking, and communication skills, with a keen sense for where strategy meets execution. This role can be a remote UK position with availability to flex across multiple time zones, as stakeholders’ locations range from Australia, US, and Europe. As an organization with a global customer and employee footprint, some domestic and international travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for TalentLens assessment products, aligning with the company's overall vision and goals. Product Execution: Define product requirements and prioritize features based on customer feedback, market demand, and business goals. Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product development and positioning. Cross-group Collaboration: Work with engineering, design, sales, marketing, and psychometricians to develop and enhance TalentLens products. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality features and improvements. Customer Insights: Gather and analyze customer feedback to continuously improve product offerings and user experience. Act as the voice of the customer within the organization. Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive data-driven decision-making. Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation in the assessment space. Compliance: Garner an understanding of legal compliance, internationalization, accessibility, and other ongoing needs to help engineering and UX design make the right trade-offs.About You
Key Experiences & Skills:
Product Leadership Experience: 5+ years of experience in product management or program management, with responsibility over project / product delivery. B2B Product Expertise: Experience in B2B and/or internal product initiatives leadership, with previous experience in HR/people functions a significant plus. International Experience: Demonstrated experience within a global organization, with an understanding of cultural nuances. Commercial Acumen: Strong ability to deliver seamless end-to-end user journeys that help drive significant commercial returns. Analytical Nature: Ability to use data to make key decisions on tradeoffs on product initiatives. Skilled in analyzing and reporting on metrics and KPIs. Project Management: Proven experience driving large cross-group collaboration projects with dotted-line ownership across the prioritization trade-offs. What to expect from Pearson
Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, New York State, New York City, Washington State, and Washington DC laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:
The minimum full-time salary range is between $85,000 - $90,000
