Senior Product Manager
**A Day in the Life:** _We’re looking for a passionate Snr Product Manager who knows how to define, de-risk and execute against a product vision. You will be collaborating with customers and colleagues on cross-functional and co-located product teams. The role demands strong product instincts, excellent communication skills, technical fluency, empathy, humility and an appreciation for and understanding of lean start up, agile and user-centered design values, principles and practices._ _The ideal candidate should have experience delivering and shipping Digital Products to retail/B2B customers and operations._ **What You’ll Do:** + Ship successful _products_ , including defining vision, strategy, outcome-driven product roadmaps and creating and managing backlogs + Define and prioritize product features + Collaborate with engineers, designers, and users + Understand a specific customer domain and identify the trends and opportunities in that space + Facilitate collaborative decision-making in a workshop context + Articulate and test product hypotheses + Strong leadership and communication skills and the ability to teach others + Navigate complex decision-making using product data and key performance indicators (KPIs) + Lead product strategy, planning, and life cycle management efforts. + Monitor business, market, and technology trends to inform product strategy and proactively propose new solutions. + Continuously monitor and evaluate product performance and proactively champion product improvements. + Determine internal and contract/external resources and skills required for the product team to deliver on the product roadmap. + Guide the product engineering team to scope, plan and deliver work, applying established delivery methodologies (e.g., agile methods) and best practices (e.g., reusability). + Proactively identify and resolve blockers to achieve business objectives for the product, including technical and resourcing challenges. + Increase adoption and consumption of product capabilities. + Manage investment decision making and finances for the product, taking a return-on-investment approach to increasing the value while minimizing product costs. + Where applicable,Serve as the Product Manager for multiple, related products. **What We’re Looking For:** **Skills & Competencies** + Strong product and project management skills to manage multiple products and deadlines simultaneously. + Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, including experience leveraging data to inform decision making and independently solving software engineering problems. + Expertise in strategic thinking and strong business acumen. + Strong experience in understanding business partner and client needs. + Demonstrated success in defining and building products. + Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing. + Verifiable track record of effective leadership which includes successful execution with technical and intellectual resources. + Experience with product management tools like JIRA, Mural, Zephyr. **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in Computing Science, Computer Engineering (or equivalent years of experience). + Certifications: Design Thinking, Agile Methodologies, Lean Sigma etc + 5-10 years experience leading digital product development; + Background in fleet management or mobility/transportation industries preferred **What You’ll Strive For:** + You will support a significant digital transformation initiative at Hertz + This role will impact on our financial performance and customer experience **Hertz is an equal opportunity employer, all applicants must have the legal right to work in Ireland (Valid EU Passport / Relevant Visa).** **What You’ll Get:** + Employee Friends & Family rental discount (40% discount for employee & partner; 30% discount for up to 8 additional family/friends). + Hybrid/flexible working arrangements. + 22 days holidays on hire rising to 27 days with service. + Occupational Pension Scheme with up to 5% company matched contribution. + Life Cover payable at 4 times base salary. + Profit Share Scheme. + Tuition support plus access to compressive online learning platform. + 10 days paid study leave & paid exam leave where exams fall during work hours. + Income protection for long term illness. + Professional membership fees paid in full annually where membership relates directly to role. + Bike to Work & Travel Pass schemes. + Employee Assistance Programme for employees and family. + Occupational Health support. + Christmas savings scheme.
