Senior Product Manager within Automated Investing Capabilities; This Product Owner will lead two agile scrum product development teams, joining our small-but-mighty Product Management team. Automated Investing teams are focused on building and enhancing various components which support our digital wealth platform, digital advice offers, and automated investing capabilities. The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for building a roadmap and executing against that plan with their team(s). This role has responsibilities that include collaborating with other domains integrating with the platform, ensuring data is available for reporting and metrics, and working with scrum teams for coordinated delivery of required functionality. Representing business and technology stakeholders, this role will work closely with architects, developers, quality testers, and other areas of the business to ensure solutions provide business value, are scalable, and are made with long term goals at the forefront.
**What you are good at**
+ Maintaining backlogs for one or two scrum teams including eliciting requirements, grooming sessions, acceptance criteria, signoffs, and continual prioritization.
+ Actively participating in all scrum team ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, demos, user story creation, and definition of done and production release sign-offs.
+ Actively collaborating across multiple groups of stakeholders to capture and prioritize new work for the Automated Investing team(s) backlogs, setting objectives and leading quarterly planning as well as annual planning and roadmap scope for the team(s).
+ Gather, document, analyze and prioritize scope for teams’ work from high-level scope for epics through elaboration down to detailed business and technical requirements for user stories and production support bugs from information provided by stakeholders from architecture, business, platform operations, production support, release management, and/or technology.
+ Add business value context for Automated Investing team(s) backlogs which include items of technical priorities as well as business features and priorities.
**What you have**
**Required Qualifications:**
+ 5+ years working as Product Owner writing technical user stories for scrum teams
+ Proven experience as a product owner for API/Service development teams
+ Documented experience in Agile development practices, scrum teams, and Product Owner responsibilities
+ Experience working on highly technical software product development teams
+ Ability to translate technical work as business-value/outcomes-based deliverables
+ Ability to cultivate relationships and collaborate with a variety of cross-domain internal partner teams and stakeholders
+ Adaptability and flexibility in managing an existing platform integrated within the complex ecosystem of multiple Schwab domains
+ Project management skills to create and socialize team milestones and delivery timelines
+ Experience a plus in financial technology or investment services domain, with a solid understanding of a range of investment products available to consumers today.
