Job DescriptionThe Senior Product Manager - Amplifiers and Electronics is responsible for the product management of Dynacord commercial amplifiers and electronics worldwide, a major revenue contributor for the Communications Systems Division of Bosch Security Systems. This position does not have direct reports.
Define the product strategy and roadmap.Manage global product portfolio and life cycle and evaluate market potential for new products.Conduct voice of customer work sessions, and market research for new products.Clearly define detailed technical specifications for the new product introduction. Justify the financial relevance of a new product, including product development plans and pricing recommendations that meet revenue and profitability goals. Collaborate cross-functionally, in a matrix organization, on all aspects of new product development and their entire life cycle. Drive the product introduction on the market.Partner with sales and marketing to prepare and deliver presentations, create materials and plan trade shows, that educate sales personnel and customers on functionalities and features of products.Responsible for costing/forecasting on new and existing portfolio.QualificationsBachelor’s degree years preferred. Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in product management or equivalent education and experience.Professional/Commercial Audio industry knowledge is required.Knowledge of key marketing principles and demonstrated ability to apply them in a business environment, including ability to effectively analyze markets and competition to identify customer needs.Ability to grasp technical concepts relating to professional/commercial audio.Ability to plan, organize and follow through/implement to achieve timely, accurate results, focusing on key priorities and effectively manage multiple projects.Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.Ability to make public presentations and to eloquently communicate with senior leaders and sales team. Strong customer focus, ability to anticipate customer needsAbility to generate financial analysis relating to product costs, return on investment, etc.Knowledge of commercial sales channels (i.e.: distribution, reps, dealers, etc.).May be required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds when setting up or tearing down booths at trade shows.Up to 30% travel may be required, both domestically and internationally.Additional InformationIndefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only.
