Key Responsibilities
Agile Product Ownership

Act as Product Owner in an agile team (e.g. participate in standups, sprint planning, retros) for multiple pluginsOwn and maintain the product backlog for assigned pluginsWrite clear, actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical context where neededPrioritise backlog based on business goals, customer feedback, and tech constraints

Feature Planning & Delivery

Collaborate with the Plugins Lead to break down roadmap initiatives into executable featuresAlign sprint goals with plugin business goals and customer outcomesEnsure features are shipped on time and meet the acceptance criteriaTeam CollaborationWork closely with plugin engineers to clarify requirements and unblock progressFacilitate tight feedback loops between engineers, designers, and support teamsProvide ongoing product direction during development and testingCustomer & Data InsightGather and synthesise customer feedback, bug reports, and support trendsMaintain product ideas board to collect customer feedback and track demand for featuresManage various public feedback forumsConduct customer discovery calls to gain insight into customer usage and pain pointsTechnical AwarenessMaintain a basic understanding of plugin architectures and integration considerationsTranslate non-technical needs into structured requirements that engineers can build against

Skills & Experience:

2–4 years experience in product management or technical product ownership, ideally with WordPress plugins or SaaS integrationsComfortable working in an agile development environmentStrong communication and documentation skillsAnalytical mindset, able to prioritize based on data and impactExperience writing user stories, specs, and managing backlogsFamiliarity with tools like Jira, Linear, or Shortcut; and collaborative tools like Miro, Figma, Slack
