We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Manager to lead our observability initiatives and support our SRE, NOC and Network engineering. This role will be pivotal in improving our monitoring, logging, and alerting systems, ensuring seamless operations and enhanced customer experience.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Develop and Execute Strategy: Define and implement the observability strategy, aligning it with the market requirements and company’s overall goals and objectives.
Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with customers, SRE, engineering, and customer support teams to understand their needs and translate them into product requirements.
Enhance Monitoring and Logging: Improve existing monitoring and logging systems to provide real-time insights and proactive issue detection.
Customer-Focused Solutions: Develop observability features that enhance transparency and trust for our customers.
Product Roadmap: Create and maintain a product roadmap for infrastructure and observability, prioritizing features based on impact and feasibility.
Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate progress and updates to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.
Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in observability and cyber security.
Minimum Qualifications
8+ years of product management experience, preferably in SaaS in network based companies, or 8+ years of experience as an SRE manager
Strong understanding of cloud and network observability tools and practices, including monitoring, logging, and alerting systems. Good understanding of how a modern web application is architected.
Experience in performance and capacity planning. Experience with complicated SaaS deployment processes and tools. knowledge/experience with existing observability solutions – Prometheus, Grafana, open telemetry, Splunk, Datadog, CoreLogic, orb, etc. .
Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects to completion.
