Overview
The Promotions team is looking for a Lead Product Manager- Technical to be the voice of our internal CIS agents while identifying and driving the right capabilities for the promotion builder service. The ideal candidate is passionate about the customer experience journey, an effective communicator between business and software development teams, and intellectually curious.

Role
In this position, you will:
•\tIdentify gaps and champion new platform capabilities as required
•\tDetermine release goals for the platform and prioritize assigned features according to business and platform value, adjusting throughout implementation as needed
•\tExhibit expertise within platform feature area and coordinate with interdependent teams
•\tDigest business customer requirements (user stories, use cases) and platform requirements for a platform feature set
•\tReview product demo with the development team against acceptance criteria for the feature set
•\tIdentify issues that will keep the platform features from delivering on time and/or with the desired requirements and communicate to leadership
•\tSupport and participate in post-launch reviews and ensure feedback is reincorporated into the feature
•\tResearch, understand, and represent the impacted personas for your product
•\tContribute to the platform product portfolio and roadmap
•\tCoordinate internal forums to collect and identify feature-level development opportunities

All About You
The ideal candidate for this position should:
•\tUnderstand and explain the business context and the associated customer use cases
•\tBe proficient at grooming user stories, setting entrance/exit criteria and prioritizing a platform product backlog
•\tTake the time to fully learn the functionality, architecture, dependencies, and runtime properties of the systems supporting your platform products. This includes the business requirements and associated use cases, Mastercard customer's experience, Mastercard's back-office systems, the technical stack (application/service architecture), interfaces and associated data flows, dependent applications/services, runtime operations (i.e. trouble management/associated support strategies), and maintenance.
•\tUnderstand the technologies supporting the platform product and are able to effectively participate in debates with other PM-Ts, TPMs, Architects and developers
•\tRecognize discordant views and take part in constructive dialog to resolve them
•\tCommunicate verbally and written in a clear and concise manner
•\tImprove team processes that accelerate delivery, drive innovation, lower costs, and improve quality

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
