Axis’ Americas Marketing Team is looking for a skilled Senior Product Marketing Manager to work with us in our Chelmsford, MA-based team.
Join us in this exciting challenge where you will plan, execute, and follow through on product marketing strategies related to Axis’ Solutions Acceleration product categories. You will also liaise with both external and internal customers, leveraging traditional and digital marketing tactics to implement product marketing campaigns with real bottom-line impact.
What you’ll do here as Senior Product Marketing Manager?
Create, convey, and execute the strategy behind integrated marketing plans in your owned area of the Axis software and cloud portfolio.
Generate awareness and demand for Axis’ products via expertly designed campaigns and product launch plans.
Connect marketing strategies directly into larger company goals with exceptional understanding of how day-to-day activities tie into company revenue and long-term objectives.
Continuously set goals and measure ROI of marketing initiatives in order to report relevant results, all while utilizing information about successes and failures to enhance product marketing plans.
Actively work with Business Development Managers, Solutions Engineers, corporate Product Marketing, corporate Product Management, and other local and global teams to determine the most impactful paths to market with new product releases.
Become a subject matter expert of your owned area of the portfolio and use that expertise to design thoughtful product messaging and positioning.
Influence and utilize other marketing teams such as events, digital marketing, marketing operations, channel marketing, educational services, public relations, and field marketing to influence their initiatives and echo your product marketing strategy through their plans.
Research and identify new marketing opportunities for exposing the Axis brand and message to important target groups.
Evaluate competitor marketing and provide analysis on the trends and themes in order to influence the evolution of current and future marketing strategies.

A well-rounded understanding of sales needs, behaviors, and processes with a clear understanding of how marketing can most effectively enable them for bottom-line impact
Keen ability to build strong business relationships both internally and externally.
Good communication and influencing skills with ability to balance openness, honesty, and professionalism.
Proficiency to learn technical concepts and translate them into clearly understandable marketing messaging that aligns with customer needs.
Extreme attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills.
Thoughtful and creative content development and writing proficiencies with a knack for solution selling and storytelling.
Enthusiasm and passion for brand development.
Resilient and flexible with an ability to see the big picture.
Self-starter attitude about how to professionally develop themselves and others around them.
We'd love to hear that you have/are:
Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or related field
7+ years marketing experience in a B2B environment
Prefer product marketing experience within a channel sales model
Prefer IT industry, and/or security industry experience
Prefer experience in marketing software product and feature offerings
Experience working within a marketing automation platform (Pardot preferred) and knowledge of Salesforce.com or other CRM platform.

Target Salary:
The approximate pay range is $98,000 - $105,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
