In your role as Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will evolve a traditional product marketing function into a best practice strategic solution and content marketing engine.

You will lead the market positioning and strategic narrative to drive awareness, preference and growth with prospects, customers and media and analyst influencers for the Cloud Cost Optimization products that fuel our MSP Partner channel.

The ideal candidate will be a go-getter with a demonstrated track record of gathering and translating buyer insights, competitive intel plus product and portfolio value into unique, compelling stories across paid, earned and owned communications channels. This leader will build cross-functional strategies to grow the business in tight partnership with Product, Strategy, Engineering, Customer Success and Sales teams.  Working knowledge of how to position a traditional product narrative into a solution narrative for the marketplace, media and analysts (Gartner, Forrester, IDC) to secure positive representation for Flexera is an important part of this role. 

As the Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will:

Empower our partner network with internal and client facing resources needed to win in the competitive cloud services marketEnable our global salesforce to succeed in selling our market leading Cloud Cost Optimization to FinOps practitionersEquip global marketing teams with product positioning & content strategies that will attract and convert interest from ideal customersWork with our internal and external media and analyst resources to build awareness and understanding of Flexera’s Agility, Insights and Operations solutions and products for positive perception and placement in media and analyst reports (Magic Quadrant, Waves)Partner with the creative team to produce a regular cadence of best-in-class conversion and SEO-optimized content including whitepapers, ROI calculators, capability assessment tools, videos, podcasts, infographics, proprietary research reports, customer stories, blogs, case studies, FAQs, webinars, data sheets, demos, solution guides, battle cards, talk tracks, sales decks and more that emotionally connect with buyers at the right time to assist sales across all funnel stages, fuel demand generation campaigns and drive audience to consume, share and commentAmplify content via all our distribution channels – owned (web, digital), earned (PR, AR, thought leadership) and paid (demand gen, events)

Experience, Capability, and Behaviors:

5+ years minimum product marketing experience with at least 2 years in a software or technology companyBS in marketing or equivalent, MBA preferredProven track record developing and executing metrics-driven go-to-market plans for a product or solution portfolio in partnership with cross-functional teams spanning product management, engineering, marketing and salesSoftware and/or technology market/industry experience desirable with knowledge of cloud management, data normalization, ITAM platforms a plusProduct management or direct sales experience a plusStrong software/technology industry networkProven product and solution market messaging and storytelling experience and expertiseBasic SEO and conversion-optimization knowledgeStrong ability to take initiative, collaborate and drive results through a global teamStrong written/oral communicationsAnalytical, strategic, objective-driven planning and reportingDeep experience with business intelligence tools, Salesforce, and marketing automationEmpathetic to buyers, customers, users, and sales resources
