Are you ready to take on a pivotal role that leverages your deep regulatory expertise and leadership skills? Dow is seeking a dynamic Senior Product Regulatory Specialist to join our EMEAI team. This position offers a unique opportunity to drive regulatory excellence and ensure our products meet compliance standards across Russia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.
Responsibilities
Regional Regulatory Leader: Serve as the go-to expert for regulatory matters in Eurasia, providing insightful guidance and consulting services to internal stakeholders.Regulatory Interpretation & Consulting: Offer value-added regulatory interpretation and consulting services, seeking advice from law firms when necessary.Guidance & Support: Assist in drafting and updating regulatory statements, resolving customer requests, and implementing hazard communication requirements (e.g., SDS and labels).Project Development & Risk Management: Support new project developments, issue management, and business risk reviews.REACH-like Program Implementation: Lead the implementation of REACH-like programs, including Ukraine-REACH and EEU Technical Regulation 041/2017.Regulatory Monitoring: Stay ahead of regulatory developments and proactively inform stakeholders of any impacts.Representation & Advocacy: Represent Dow in trade associations, coordinate common positions, and advocate for regulatory improvements.Continuous Learning: Attend external trainings, seminars, workshops, and conferences to enhance your expertise and network.Qualifications
Educational Background: Minimum of a Master’s degree in a relevant field.Experience: Significant relevant work experience in technical or regulatory affairs.Language Skills: Fluent in English, Russian, Ukrainian.Your Skills
Regulatory skills: knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the specified regions.Consulting & Interpretation: Ability to provide value-added regulatory interpretation and consulting services.Project Management: Skills in supporting project development, issue management, and business risk reviews.Communication: Strong communication skills for drafting regulatory statements, training stakeholders, and managing internal and external communications.Representation & Advocacy: Skills in representing the company in trade associations and advocating for regulatory improvements.Continuous Learning: Commitment to attending external trainings, seminars, workshops, and conferences to stay updated and enhance expertise.Self Motivation and independency.Additional note
