Senior Product Software Engineer - PLM Teamcenter and NX Business Analyst
Job description:

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Business Analyst with expertise in Siemens Teamcenter and NX to support the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of PLM solutions. This role bridges the gap between business needs and technical capabilities, ensuring that the Teamcenter and NX solutions align with organizational goals and improve engineering and product development workflows.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Requirement Gathering and Analysis:
oCollaborate with stakeholders to identify, document, and prioritize business requirements for Teamcenter and NX.
oAnalyze existing workflows and identify areas for process improvement and automation.
oTranslate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications for the PLM system.
2.PLM System Support and Optimization:
oSupport the configuration and customization of Teamcenter to meet business requirements.
oEnsure seamless integration between Teamcenter, NX, and other enterprise systems (ERP, MES, etc.).
oTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to Teamcenter and NX usage, including user support and training.
3.Solution Implementation:
oAssist in implementing new Teamcenter modules, NX configurations, and PLM upgrades.
oConduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure successful deployment of PLM solutions.
oCreate and maintain system documentation, including workflows, processes, and training materials.
4.Collaboration and Communication:
oAct as the primary liaison between business users, IT teams, and external vendors for Teamcenter and NX initiatives.
oCommunicate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.
oFacilitate workshops and training sessions to drive user adoption and engagement with PLM tools.
5.Data Management and Governance:
oEnsure data integrity and governance in Teamcenter, including accurate BOMs, product structures, and engineering data.
oSupport the migration of legacy data to Teamcenter and NX, ensuring alignment with business needs.
oDevelop and enforce best practices for PLM data management and usage.

Required Skills:

1.Experience:
oMinimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, focusing on Teamcenter and NX.
oHands-on experience with configuring and managing Teamcenter workflows, data structures, and integrations.
oExperience with NX CAD software, including part modeling, assemblies, and drafting.
2.Technical Skills:
oProficiency in Teamcenter modules (e.g., Engineering, BOM Management, Change Management).
oStrong understanding of NX capabilities and integration with Teamcenter.
oFamiliarity with scripting or programming (e.g., ITK, BMIDE, or custom NX/Open scripts) is a plus.
oExperience with integrations between Teamcenter, ERP, and MES systems.
3.Soft Skills:
oExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
oStrong communication and stakeholder management skills.
oAbility to work effectively in a cross-functional and global team environment.
oBilingual preferred
