The Sr. Product Specialist for Cytiva is responsible for HyClone Media and Microcarrier products management to drive and sustain the business in China.
This position is part of Bioprocess Modality located in Shanghai and will be fully remote. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Accountable to achieve HyClone Products, Solutions, Service orders and sales OP target for assigned accounts and territory.
+ Provide technical support for HyClone Products, Solutions, Service for assigned accounts, including troubleshoots or solutions to cell culture problems.
+ Provide input to deal pricing strategy and ensure pricing compliance for segment opportunities, forecast orders and sales within the applicable sales funnel tools and reports for their products, solutions, services in their assigned territory and accounts.
+ Build strong business relationships and formulate account strategies and plans to continuously strengthen relationships within the assigned accounts and territory. Identify & respond to key account technical and departmental decision and maintain customer contact records in salesforce tool.
+ Maintain up to date detailed knowledge of product and services. Be able to present and discuss the technology and clinical benefits in terms which are relevant to customers; Maintain up to market and competitor knowledge related to their products, solutions, services; Continuously update their understanding the customers changing clinical and/or operational issues and challenges.
+ Drive tender or bid process including the needs qualification, vendor selection, quotation and closure of their product, solution, service opportunities to meet orders, sales and margin targets as well as to maximize customer satisfaction assigned territory. Estimate date of delivery to customer based on knowledge of the company's production and delivery schedules ensuring fulfillment of the order is according to customer expectations and enhances customer satisfaction.
The essential requirements of the job include
+ Bachelor’s Degree or minimum 3 years of technical experience in life science (preferably upstream, cell culture field).
+ Previous experience in the Life Sciences Industry.
+ Ability to interface with both internal team members and external customers as part of solutions based technical support, sales approach.
+ Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within an organization.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in local language as well as good command of English.
+ Good at negotiation & closing skills, strong presentation skills and able to travel.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
+ Familiar with and experience on Cytiva products.
+ Have work background in Antibody company.
