What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be joining CIBC’s Remote Banking Shared Service.  You’ll be at the heart of CIBC’s digital transformation, building easy, flexible, and personalized banking solutions to enhance client experience and change the way that people bank. As a Specialist, Production Application Support, you will be providing support to a complex production applications, proactively identify potential issues or develop procedures to enhance current methods effectively & efficiently. You will be leading incidents within the LOB & report necessary details to the teams. As an application SME, you will may be required to prepare implementation scripts & reviewing implementation procedures & making sure that it aligns with the applications. Within a team of senior team members, you’ll broaden your technical skills and help build the bank of the future.

How You’ll Succeed

Programming Skills - Develop, code and test computer programs for straightforward assignments. Review, analyze, and modify programming systems, including encoding, testing, and debugging.Systems Implementation - Conduct the technical design, development, and integration of cross functional, multi-platform application systems.Planning and Coordination - Effectively interact with stakeholders, end users, business analysts, and technical resources to gather requirements and prepare design specifications as instructed by senior team members.

Who You Are

You can demonstrate experience in 5+ years of hands on experience in Jenkins, Fast Lane, Jira or Confluence and/or similar build & deploy tools. You can demonstrate experience in HP Tandem Non-Stop systems. You have experience with Guardian, Linux, SQL MP/MX, shell scripting, NETBATCH, TMF.  You have lead a complex application and have provided application support to any Tier-1 critical application. You have extensive experience in Payments, ATM, POS, Online banking, OLTP transaction processing knowledge, ISO8583, XML, JSON, SOAP. It would be considered a strong asset if you have knowledge of Interac Member Network. Your influence makes an impact.You know that relationships and networks are essential to success.
