Senior Production Planner
My client, a reputable company in the Sarasota area, is currently hiring for a Senior Production Planner role with competitive pay and growth opportunity. Qualifications to Apply: + 2+ years experience as a Production Planner or related position + MRP (Material Requirements Planning) experience is a must have + Proven experience working in a manufacturing, production, and/or warehousing environment + Experience in Microsoft Office and ERP software is a huge plus + Effective communication skills and willingness to work in a fast paced environment Job Description: + Evaluates material requirements planning (MRP) output of "New" suggestions. + Executes job creation in enterprise resource planning (ERP) system for production, rework, and prototype orders. + Assigns alternate methods of manufacturing + Compiles semi-finished good job packets. Confirms that all documents provided within the device + Creates transfer orders for site-to-site transactions in enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. + Maintains data integrity of transfer orders in accordance with material requirements planning (MRP) suggestions + This includes maintenance of accurate transfer order quantities and due dates to ensure production and customer deadlines are met. + Schedules jobs to promote efficiency and maintain on-time delivery to the customer. Plans based on previously established operation sequences and queue, cycle, and lead times. + Schedules changeovers based on remaining demand and capacity.
