Spherion is searching for a strategic and results-oriented Sr. Production Supervisor to join our clien'ts team in Dayton, OH. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics assembly and a proven track record of driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities: ... Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive production plans aligned with business objectives, ensuring efficient resource allocation and optimization of production processes.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement innovative strategies to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality. Leverage lean manufacturing principles and data-driven analysis to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Team Leadership: Foster a high-performance culture by motivating, coaching, and developing a talented team of manufacturing professionals. Provide clear direction, mentorship, and support to empower employees to achieve their full potential.
Performance Management: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress against goals. Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and address performance issues proactively.
Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to stringent quality standards throughout the production process. Implement robust quality control measures and investigate non-conforming products to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Customer Focus: Collaborate with customers and other departments to understand their needs and expectations. Ensure that products meet customer specifications and are delivered on time and within budget.

Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience in electronics assembly.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members, customers, and stakeholders.
