Title:
Senior Program Analyst, SLMKBR is seeking a Senior Program Analyst, Service Life Modification (SLM) to join our team in support of the F/A-18 EFG Air Vehicle IPT. This role reports to the PMA-265 Air Vehicle IPTL (Level 2) and SLM DIPTL (Level 3) daily.
PMA-265 is responsible for acquiring, delivering, and sustaining the F/A-18 and EA-18G aircraft, ensuring mission success for U.S. Navy and Marine Corps aviators, as well as international partners to include Australia, Canada, Finland, Kuwait, Malaysia, Spain and Switzerland.
Note: This position is 100% on site with situational telework as required and estimated 25% travel.
Role and Responsibilities:
Serves as liaison between the TYCOM, program office, contractors, suppliers, and FRC on matters related to the Service Life Modification program.
Responsible for forecasting aircraft that requires service life extension required to support the F/A-18E/F and EA-18G inventory requirements.
Track, review, and updates the Life Remaining of all aircraft in support of SLM scheduling.
Ensures that all Government Furnished Equipment is provided to their production line for aircraft currently in flow at SLM (St. Louis, San Antonio, and FRCSW).
Plans future SLM inductions with Strike Fighter Wing Atlantic and Pacific, Electronic Attack Wing Pacific, PMA 265, NAMCE Oceana, NAMCE Lemoore, FRC Mid-Atlantic, FRC West, FRC Southwest, and Boeing. Communicate any adjustment in plans and schedules as situations arise.
Provides logistic support by sourcing and prioritizing high demand aircraft parts.
Works hand in hand with the Maintenance Operations Center (MOC) to ensure the SLM line is resourced in a timely manner.
Makes updates to the SLM jet status report ensuring correct information is being provided to support SLM requirements.
Coordinates with PMA-265 and Aircraft Reporting Custodians to generate future Operating Period SLM aircraft flow.
Works with Fleet Support Team (FST) and NAVAIR engineering, FRC Mid-Atlantic, and FRC West on Depot level repairs discovered during Pre-SLM grooming. Track Naval messages that require life-limited repair messages (LLRM) by specific BuNo to allow the aircraft to safely fly to its induction site.
Maintains good working relationship with NAE stakeholder to ensure the SLM scheduling meets the fleet requirement for replacement aircraft.
Tracks modification program/project status and schedules. Conduct and participate in meetings and support specified SLM Program Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) requirements.
Creates follow-up of program/project status and schedules, prepares presentations and reports.
Primary fleet point of contact for all correspondence.
Plan, initiate, and participates in teleconferences/meetings for aircraft SLM requirements planning with the program’s Modification team, Fleet Readiness Centers, and Boeing SLM sites. Act as main point of contact for all issues.
Oversees the review of SOW documentation for correctness, make necessary changes and provide recommendations to upper management. Ensure all assigned tasks are completed as required and conduct training sessions for the military, government civilians, and contract personnel assigned to the team.
Basic Qualifications:
BA/BS degree plus 5 years of related experience. In lieu of formal education, 13 years of related experience will be accepted.
Must have excellent verbal/written communication skills.
An active secret clearance is required.
Preferred Skills:
Must have Microsoft office experience (OUTLOOK, WORD, EXCEL), and computer skills/aptitude to use and understand this position’s required unique computer applications.

40 hours/week
