Posting Summary Rutgers University-Camden is seeking a Sr. Program Coordinator for Military and Veteran Programs. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Admissions and the Director of Enrollment Operations, the Sr. Program Coordinator for Military and Veteran Programs within the Office of Admissions and Enrollment Operations is responsible for providing oversight, strategic direction, and program development for military-affiliated students, including veterans, active-duty service members, reservists, National Guard members, and their families. The Sr. Program Coordinator will communicate and collaborate with the VA and the benefits certifier. Assist in academic and career support services, develop programming, and advocate for military-affiliated students throughout their Rutgers-Camden experience.
In addition to their leadership over Military and Veteran Affairs, the Sr. Program Coordinator will support admissions and enrollment efforts, including student recruitment, application review, event coordination, and yield initiatives. This individual will collaborate closely with admissions leadership, recruitment staff, and enrollment services to increase the enrollment, retention, and overall success of military-affiliated students while contributing to broader undergraduate recruitment and yield goals.
The Sr. Program Coordinator will work collaboratively with campus partners, government agencies, and external military-affiliated organizations to promote a military-friendly student experience and expand access to higher education for this population. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills with an emphasis on both military student success and enrollment growth. Position Status Full Time Hours Per Week 37.5 Daily Work Shift Day Work Arrangement Consistent with the current application of Rutgers Policy 60.3.22, this position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement. The flexible work arrangements outlined in Rutgers Policy 60.3.22 are part of a pilot program that is effective September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2024. Therefore, there is no guarantee that this flexible work arrangement will continue beyond that date. Flexible work arrangements are not permanent, are subject to change or cancellation and contingent on the employee receiving approval in the FlexWork@RU Application System.
