How You’ll Help Us:
As a Senior Program Coordinator/RTE, your focus will be helping our teams deliver results against some of their most complex business and technology initiatives. Success requires the ability to adapt and perform in numerous Program Management and Delivery environments. In this hybrid position, your role (Release Train Engineer, coach, leader, and practitioner), will require you to balance Agile values and principles with “traditional” project management for an organization transitioning to Agile Delivery methodologies using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

Once You Are Here, You Will:
Manage a large program that has dependencies with other programs running in parallel. Perform as a Release Train Engineer as needed for one or more Agile Release Trains (ARTs) Plan and lead the quarterly Program Increment Planning sessions. Facilitate PI Planning sessions, Scrum of Scrum, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt Work with Product Management and Business Owners to coordinate PI Planning Assist Product Management with creating the solution Vision and roadmap; and supporting the program “feature” backlog refinement; and PO Sync meetings. Collaborate with STE (Solution Train Engineer) and represent the ART in Solution Train Sync Update Stakeholders and Business Sponsors on the overall program status Work closely with the PMO and collaborate with project managers. Support the triage and resolution of critical issues. Ensure cross-team and cross-program coordination. Provides relevant metrics to gauge ART progress with a continual focus on improvement (Predictability) and delivery (Agile Earned Value Management) Influence/steer/educate teams, stakeholders, and leaders to on scaling (SAFe) as needed. Collaborate with the program and team coaches to educate business/IT on project versus product and lean agile mindset. Appropriately assess the impact and log risks when business/architectural decisions are made. Prepare and deliver effective communications (both oral and written) regarding progress and status for both internal and client teams. Work with the Scrum Masters to define, reinforce and maintain consistent agile practices across the organization. Effectively and efficiently track, mitigate/resolve issues, risks, and blockers. Able to do planning as it relates to helping the teams on the ART to ensure dependencies are known, expectations with downstream teams or owners of those dependencies are aware of needs and solutions/timelines are interlocked to promote velocity and meeting milestones. Perform hands-on work, including analysis, design, testing, change management, as needed by the ART Lead ART Problem Solving Workshop and help teams conduct RCCA analysis to address impediments impacting velocity. Strengthen the presence of the ART as an Agile center of excellence.
Basic Qualifications
10 + years of experience as a Project Manager in all phases of the software development life cycle 5+ years of experience as a Release Train Engineer (RTE) 5+ years’ experience working in large consulting company environment. 5+ years’ experience using Agile Project Management Tools (Azure Dev Ops (TFS) - preferred, Jira Align (AgileCraft), VersionOne, Rally, etc.) 5+ years’ experience in Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and iterative development practices 5 + years’ experience meeting with clients to discuss where they are in terms of Agile transformation and coach them accordingly. 5+ years’ experience successfully managing large and complex programs or engagements. Flexibility to work with teams, individuals and executives and willingness to help with a wide variety of work products and people.
Preferred skills
Ability to establish immediate credibility with business stakeholders, build consensus, and achieve goals through influence. Ability to help teams write user stories/features/capabilities/epics and enablers, identify dependencies, testing, and design optimal solutions. Prior experience as a Scrum Master working with multiple teams Prior hands-on Product Manager/Business Analysis and/or development experience Test Driven Development Testing Automation Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
Certifications
PMP or PMI-ACP certification. SAFe RTE 5 or SPC 5 certification.
