Responsibilities:

As a Senior Program Management Support with MTSI you will provide inputs to the US Air Force Advanced Management Office (AMO) with Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) to achieve cost-effective, long-term, critical capabilities to support the war-fighting mission of the combatant commanders. This position will be located at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland.

Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:

Provide dedicated support to the Program Element Monitor responsible for the Secretary of the Air Force, Special Programs (SAF/AQL) survivability portfolio Work and collaborate on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and perform all functional duties independentlyExecute analysis of survivability technologies and associated systems to include system acquisition and life cycle management for programming, budgeting, and security policyUse your in-depth understanding of survivability, warfighter capability and requirements, DoD system acquisition, programs and defense policy to evaluate issues and provide recommendations up to the Director/GO/SES level on the portfolios security policyOversee the efforts of senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific projectProvide acquisition oversight and support portfolio management activities including working groups and integrated product teamsInterface with other DoD Services, Congress, industry, and other external offices and agencies

Qualifications:

Required Skills, and Experience:

10+ years of relevant DoD work experience, including experience on survivability related programs, research, or technologiesDoD 5000.02 acquisition experience on one or more ACAT I and/or ACAT II acquisition programs for research, development, test, evaluation, production, modernization or lifecycle acquisition and sustainment activities of a DoD programWorking experience on a MAJCOM level or higher Staff Experience
No less than two (2) years’ experience in a Special Access Programs and/or SCI environment within the last five (5) years (DESIRED)Operational experience (DESIRED)Strong communications skills

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a science, mathematics, engineering or related technical fieldMaster of Science (MS) Degree (DESIRED)

Clearance Requirements:

Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
