Job SummaryBattelle is seeking a Senior Program Manager, Bioinformatics within our Health Research and Analytics Business Line. The position location can be remote with preference for Crystal City, VA or Columbus, OH on a hybrid schedule. Periodic travel to Columbus, OH and the Washington, DC area is required. This position reports to the Vice President, Health Research and Analytics.
As a Senior Program Manager, Bioinformatics you are responsible for overseeing and growing the Division’s work in Computational Toxicology. This role serves as the lead for capturing and executing $50M+ contracts. You are also a key manager for coaching and mentoring team members on shaping, structural, organizational, and partnership requirements to win $50M+, and $100M+ awards.
Key Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Technical field; at least 12 years of experience demonstrating progressive responsibility in business development, program management or technical management; or an equivalent combination of education and or experience in a related field. Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
Preferred Qualifications Strong knowledge of health analytics concepts, technologies, and use cases, specifically utilizing new or cutting-edge approaches to data, models and technologyMaster’s Degree or higher, preferably in technical discipline or similar professional experience.Project Management Professional (PMP) CertificationAbility to obtain and maintain Secret clearance
