Amazon is looking for a Senior Program Manager to plan and execute transportation supply chain initiatives in the Americas, with a primary focus on Canada market. This is a highly visible role with focus on transportation network planning and continuous improvement. The role will lead cadence driven planning workflows, cross functional initiatives for improving network performance, manage resources and risk, steer key decisions, and drive implementation. Stakeholders include senior leaders at Amazon, technology and non-technology partner teams, as well as external vendors and partners.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional workflows driving S&OP, and mid/long term plan. Analyze upstream business metrics used as inputs, and use sound forecasting approaches to produce detailed plan for business execution in Canada network.
- Capture insights from business execution into future plans and improve plan accuracy, flexibility, and resiliency
- Develop functional requirements (tech and non-tech), localized for country specific compliance. - Build tools and processes to continuously improve plan KPIs.
- Liaise directly with senior leadership to provide insights from deep dives, build recommendations, and drive timely decisions.
