We're in search of a Senior Program Manager to Managing multiple client contracts and their respective teams in the Kansas City area. In this role, you will leverage your leadership, communication, and relationship building skills to lead a matrixed team of program managers, engineers, communication professionals and marketing and IT developers to design, launch, and deliver customer-centric energy programs across the state.

What you will be doing:  
Working closely with the Regional Director, you'll ensure the execution of program goals, exceptional customer satisfaction, and strategic growth within your portfolio. You will provide daily management support, be personally responsible for financial and program data quality, and ensure timely reporting and billing through coordination with specialist staff.  
  
Your prime responsibility will be overseeing a team of Program Managers, as they design and deliver Utility energy efficiency programs, under the guidance of a Regional Director. You will be responsible for overseeing and developing materials for client reports. You will build strong relationships with commercial and public sector stakeholders, design and implement program strategies, streamline operations, create programmatic solutions, and partner with internal teams to deliver on-time, high-quality programs to our clients.   
  
The selected candidate will be responsible for the following core program responsibilities across the client territory:  

Build and guide collaborative and inclusive teams that have the talent needed to deliver on all client goals and contract KPIs.  Building rapport and trust with clients by understanding their business and priorities, always following through on commitments, and bringing One ICF to all engagements.  Maintain a comprehensive understanding of program designs, performance status, and how the performance of our programs impact our clients.  Solve client challenges through collaboration and partnerships with subcontractors, internal partners, and clients.  Work with internal teams to drive and oversee partnership strategy, engagement, and management.  Forecast, track, and deliver portfolio-level financial and performance targets.  Collaboratively design program budgets and staffing needs across cross-functional teams.  Guide and enable high performing teams through inclusive collaboration and career growth-oriented people management.  Become an expert in ICF’s suite of services and expertise and bring those solutions to your clients based on their strategic and programmatic needs.  Play a substantial role in preparing for, pursuing, and negotiating recompetes and/or extensions of the portfolio, including pricing and proposal writing.  Coordinate with other ICF teams to share new or innovative offerings, meet new or evolving business needs or challenges, and expand our footprint with the clients’ organization.  Be a leader who demonstrates quality work, passion for what we do, and high ethical standards.  Be a strong communicator and build a culture of no surprises.  Administer program deliverables to meet highest quality expectations.  Promote an inclusive culture of transparency, accountability, and collaboration.  Must be able to travel to Kansas City, MO weekly for hybrid work (Requirements are less than 25%).  

What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):  

Bachelor’s degree (concentration in Environmental Science, Energy Resources, Policy, Engineering a plus, or related field) (or applicants can substitute one year of related experience for one year of education) 8+ years of experience in energy or energy related field (experience managing successful energy efficiency, electrification, distributed energy resource, and/or demand reduction programs plus)Must have a valid driver’s license and successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check, background check and drug screening

Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement and quality assurance/control theories, techniques, and applications Technical experience with home performance, demand side management, energy efficiency or related commercial energy programs or utilities Ability to communicate effectively, written and verbally, with clients and colleagues at all levels

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$118,730.00 - $201,840.00
