In the Amazon EU Supply Chain Placement Analytics & Engineering team, we drive innovation for our customers to enhance product availability and speed while reducing costs and carbon emissions. This role will give an unique view into Amazon Inventory Placement systems, processes, and operations, enabling collaboration with planning, operations, and technical teams. Among others, you will have the opportunity to simplify our supply chain network to deliver faster and cheaper.

Key job responsibilities
• Work backwards from strategic output metrics. Define and track input metrics to drive a business goal.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and remove blockers to accelerate delivery.
• Partner with Tech teams to prioritize and implement business-critical solutions.
• Effectively communicate progress and insights to senior stakeholders across Supply Chain, Finance, FBA, and Retail.

A day in the life
• Collaborate with a diverse team of Program/Product Managers, Business Intelligence Engineers, Data Scientists and Finance Analysts to develop the right mechanisms to work backwards from a business goal.
• Partner with Business and Tech teams to prioritize impactful insights or get support for an initiative.
• Understand systems affecting Placement decisions.
• Monitor key metrics and response efforts when anomalies occur with the help of Business Intelligence Engineers or Data Scientists.
• Design and coordinate data-driven experiments to drive innovation.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly business performance updates.
