Senior Program Manager, JP Insights, Growth, and UX

The JP Insights, Growth and UX team is seeking Senior Program Manager to help us build and deliver the customer growth strategy for Japan. In this high impact role, you will leverage customer insights, data analytics, and market intelligence to unlock new customer segments. You will partner with top talent across the organization to bring transformative ideas to life. Specifically, the candidate will:
1. Partner with research/insights and data science team to identify JP unmet customer needs and pain points across key core shopping experiences.
2. Articulate, drive alignment, own, and deliver the Amazon JP customer growth strategy
3. Partner with multiple JP businesses (marketing, consumables, books, payments, events) to improve customer facing offerings
4. Evolve the tracking mechanisms to measure and track the quality and performance of the customer growth program.
5. Communicate progress to senior leadership, aligning leaders across organizations to accelerate progress.


About the team
The JP Insights, Growth and User experience team is embedded in the Japan Marketing organization. The team vision is to be the leading experts on Japanese online shopping behavior, empowering Amazon businesses with actionable insights, designs, and concepts that revolutionize the e-commerce experience in Japan and enable expansion. We intend to become a strategic accelerator by 1) creating and driving the customer strategy to increase the customer baseline, 2) serving as subject matter experts on key domains including customer research, UX design, and onsite merchandizing, and 3) functioning as an innovation incubator for JP specific needs.
