Senior Program Manager, People Analytics

Reporting to the Director, People Analytics & Employee Engagement, and the Program Manager, People Analytics plays a vital role in advancing the People Analytics function at OpenText.
This role brings superb critical thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills to lead seamless design, execution, and delivery of operational and compliance reporting company wide.    

 

You’re great at: 
•    Bringing problem-solving, critical thinking, and project management skills to lead and deliver operational and compliance reporting supporting HR goals and objectives and business strategy.
•    Partnering with the IT and HR Technology (HRIM) teams, serve as a champion for data governance, data management best practices and data quality, including supporting business-wide data governance initiatives.
•    Supporting the implementation of the people analytics strategy, including modern reporting solutions, Analytics AI use cases, and a roadmap aligned to our business priorities and data privacy.
•    Playing a key role in advancing the development and delivery of people analytics and reporting capabilities, tools, and methodologies via various platforms (e.g. SAP Analytics Cloud & SuccessFactors, Power BI, Microsoft applications, and other business platforms).
•    Engaging with stakeholders across the organization to understand and define business needs, taking a consultative approach to requirements gathering, translating business challenges into actionable analytics projects and solutions
•    Building Project Management capability for report intake and triage; defining and measuring delivery SLAs.
•    Maintaining SuccessFactors Report Catalogue and Stakeholder portfolios
•    Establishing a process to create, document, store, and update process maps, data, and metric definitions.
•    Driving the democratization of ‘People data’ to empower stakeholders to make informed decisions and increase self-service reporting opportunities while prioritizing data privacy and security.
•    Contributing to the promotion of data culture and literacy across HR through knowledge sharing and collaboration. Build and deliver a training program to enable end-user self-service.
•    Inspire and motivate team members, to develop, glean insights from data, and perform at the highest level.

 

What it Takes:
•    Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, information technology, computer science, or related disciplines.
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence, and deliver a message to all levels of the organization.
•    Strong consultative skills with a proven ability to build relationships and gather requirements through in-depth discussions and understanding of stakeholder needs.
•    Strong problem-solving, priority-setting, facilitation, multi-tasking, and collaboration skills
•    Proven ability to analyze large data sets and solve problems
•    Communicate technical subjects to non-technical audiences
•    Advanced technical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., SuccessFactors WFA, People Analytics, Canvas Table Reports. Power BI)
•    Experience with SuccessFactors Data model, People Stories or SAP Analytics Cloud is an asset
•    Developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining methodologies for standardized and repeatable reporting for internal audiences at varying levels of the organization
•    Artificial Intelligence experience as an asset
•    Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Project)
