The Opportunity
In this critical role, you will serve as the Program Manager for the Digital Performance Management (DPM) tool at the Oceanside site, with a specific focus on managing the monthly performance review processes. You will be accountable for delivering meaningful data to support day-to-day business performance tracking, working closely with global and local digital teams. The scope includes leveraging machine learning models and advanced analytics techniques to enhance data capabilities, enabling strategic decision-making through accurate, timely, and actionable insights. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Principal Program Manager - Strategy and Operations, the Business Operations Managers and the Operational Excellence team to drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. The role will also require engagement with multiple stakeholders across the Business Unit, including external benchmarking efforts, to ensure ongoing value delivery.
What you’ll do:
You will serve as the Product Owner for the Digital Performance Management (DPM) tool at Oceanside, overseeing its lifecycle management and continuous evolution to drive business performance.
You will lead or participate in the design, development, and deployment of data initiatives that deliver actionable insights and enhance operational excellence across the organization.
You will work with machine learning models, collaborating with data scientists and engineers to develop, test, and deploy robust algorithms that predict business performance and identify areas for improvement.
You may take ownership of additional digital tools or solutions, as required.
You will design and develop visual dashboards and reports that provide clear, concise, and actionable insights, supporting initiatives such as Deviation Management improvement efforts.
You will collaborate with departments to gather, validate, and analyze performance data, automating data generation processes and assisting teams, including daily huddles, with data analytics and reporting.
You will identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement through data analysis and recommend corrective actions to enhance business performance.
You will develop and manage resource and capacity models to optimize operations, working with various functions to forecast resource needs and identify constraints.
You will collaborate with stakeholders to adjust resource allocation based on evolving business demands and provide strategies for improving resource utilization and capacity planning.
You will partner with Operations Managers and the Operational Excellence team to identify, prioritize, and implement continuous improvement initiatives, using data-driven approaches to address process inefficiencies.
You will facilitate workshops and cross-functional collaboration to develop and monitor improvement initiatives, ensuring they deliver measurable results and drive operational excellence.
You will promote a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
Who you are:
You hold a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in science or engineering, with a professional, graduate, or higher-level degree preferred.
You have a minimum of 10 years’ work experience in a regulated environment, ideally in biologics manufacturing.
You possess expert knowledge in data analytics, advanced analytics, and performance management, along with experience across Technical Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, OE, Planning, and Scheduling.
You demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail and have a proven ability to successfully deliver complex digital projects through excellent project management capabilities.
Your outstanding communication skills—both verbal and written—enable you to influence at all levels of an organization and build trustful, effective relationships.
You are highly skilled at developing visual dashboards and Tableau reports and have proficiency in data analytics, machine learning, performance tracking software, and resource and capacity modeling techniques.
You excel in agile and ambiguous environments, leveraging your entrepreneurial spirit to navigate within GMP settings while maintaining a strong commitment to quality and driving results.
You role-model a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and agility by promoting a growth mindset, embracing opportunities, and fostering an open speak-up culture that encourages feedback and drives change.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location for this position of Oceanside, California is $92,000 - $182,500. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, level, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
