Senior Program Manager – Analytical and Detection

**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**
+ Build an inclusive and encouraging environment for employees within the organization.
+ Develop and implement strategies towards talent development and aligning the vision of global product group
+ Identify and implement plans for technical competency development at EICP
+ Attract, develop, appraise, and retain qualified and skilled staff.
+ Motivate, empower, and develop the team
+ Actively participate in and implement the group level resource planning process
+ Steer the Engineering and development team in EICP to ensure delivery of projects/products to time and budget.
+ Collaborate with the Measurement Solutions Leader EICP and Analytical and Detection product group engineering leaders
+ Closely work with Global engineering leaders and functional leaders for understanding product roadmap, priorities and program management
+ Develop and leading budget to fund yearly operations and infrastructure development
+ Ensure projects/programs are well defined, prioritized, tracked, and communicated in a consistent and effective manner
+ Interact with Emerson Analytical and Detection product group to identify alignments and standard methodologies and share/work across other product groups in Measurement Solutions for improving benefit
+ Other responsibilities or tasks that are within your skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed. **For This Role, You Will Need:**
+ Bachelor of Engineering/Science Degree; MBA and business studies preferred
+ Minimum 10 years of industry and leadership experience – Engineering, Research & Development or Product Management
+ Validated ability to work in a matrix environment within a sophisticated global organization
+ Proven Change Leadership skills
+ Consistent track record to influence guide leaders in different functions
+ Strong communication and presentation skills
+ Ability to flex working hours to accommodate global time differences
+ Experience of leading and mentoring engineering resource
**Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:**
+ Experience leading and completing engineering project teams that developed new products
+ Experience in software/embedded firmware and/or electrical engineering, mechanical engineering
+ Experience with Stage gated development processes
+ Experience with Agile Product Development, e.g., SCRUM, TDD, XP
+ Knowledge and experience of New Product Development staged gate processes
+ Experience working with international teams
+ Excellent presentation and persuasion skills
+ Experience in analytical and detection instrument development
