Senior Program Manager
The Senior Program Manager is responsible for managing projects, acting as a key customer contact to develop a clear understanding of all customer standards and scope of work. In addition, they will liaise with suppliers and other internal departments to ensure the project is completed in a timely manner, adhering to budget while exceeding customer expectations. This position will also provide technical direction and assist in the training of engineers.
This position will work 100% in person at Linex's manufacturing facility.

Performance Expectations
Take new projects from the concept stage to production stage. Ensure all program elements are being tracked to ensure that budgets and timing commitments are maintained. Guide and coordinate project teams. Ensure changes in program status are effectively communicated to all stakeholders. Identify capital equipment sources. Supervise buy-off of equipment. Direct APQP team and activities. Lead technical component specification, sourcing and supplier development. Participate in continuous improvements efforts based on feedback from external and internal related performance indicators. Participate in engineering design and productivity improvement initiatives. Selection of special tools and fixtures where needed. Estimate cycle times for each machining operation in the process (CNC milling and turning). Preparation of quotations. Maintain control of customer drawings and revisions. Ensure that the process is capable of producing parts to specifications. Modify the process and update all relevant documents when necessary. Write technical proposals which explore new business opportunities, new processes, new products or quality assurance opportunities. Evaluate the ability of current building systems to address increased demands from plant operations. Prepare production and completion schedules to track process and progress of projects. Analyze the cost categories of budgets to identify waste reduction measures.Credentials
Post-secondary education in engineering or equivalent. Minimum of five years experience in an automotive manufacturing/precision machining environment and a minimum of two years as a program manager. Experience with the use of statistical analysis software and computer-assisted design, manufacturing and machining. Computer literate in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, MS Office and MS Project. Knowledge of cutting tooling and tooling selection for new and existing processes (CNC turning and milling). Knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading, and understanding of CMM reports.Desired Characteristics
