Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to provide management, leadership, and oversight for a highly technical and diverse large team supporting the F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO). Serves as the lead manager and administrator for the contracted effort for an ACAT I program across multiple teams. Fosters relationships with Government officials and operational personnel by facilitating agile program management efforts, planning and prioritization of those efforts on a recurring basis. This role requires a dedicated professional with exceptional management skills, proven experience in program and support management, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
Other Duties:
+ Serves as the primary manager, interface, and point of contact with Government program authorities and representatives on technical program and project issues.
+ Manages and coordinate a diverse team of technical experts, analysts, and support personnel to meet program goals.
+ Drives technical directions for a variety of programs related to Aircraft Systems, hardware, software, test and evaluation, and integration.
+ Responsible for administrative functions to include program budgeting, deliverables, and compliance.
+ Ensures completion, quality assurance, and cross-functional projects align with fiscal management and legal support.
+ Develops, monitors, and manages project schedules, budget, and resources.
+ Regularly briefs senior or congressional leadership on program status and milestones
+ Supervises contractor personnel program/project operations by developing procedures, planning, and directing execution of the technical programming, maintenance and administrative support effort monitoring and reporting progress.
+ Works in diverse teams and provides guidance, direction, and supervision in all areas of contract efforts such as program management systems, engineering, major systems acquisitions, and fiscal management.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in business, technical or related field.
+ 10 years of relevant DoD experience managing diverse, technical support teams.
+ At least 3 years of Program Management experience leading complex programs.
+ At least 5 years of support management experience, demonstrating the ability to meet stakeholder requirements effectively.
+ Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
+ Proven ability to manage resources, timelines, and deliverables in a high-pressure environment.
+ Must be a U.S. Citizen due to sensitive nature of the position.
+ Must hold a Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Master’s Degree in business, program management or related field.
+ Familiar with DoDI 5000 series and DoD acquisitions.
+ 10+ years of demonstrated ability to work with large and diverse teams and the ability to effectively provide guidance, direction, and supervision in all areas of contract effort such as program management, systems engineering, major system acquisitions, and fiscal management.
+ Knowledge of F-35 JPO operations or DoD aviation programs is highly desirable.
+ Demonstrated experience successfully leading a contract within the DoD environment for at a minimum of 3 years.
+ Solid skills with Microsoft 365: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.
