Senior Program Manager

Working alongside team members within the Family of Companies, as the Senior Program Manager you’ll cultivate investments that will remove barriers for Black and Hispanic households, specifically, in home purchasing. You’ll support strategy development, collaborate with internal team members and external community partners and use a data-driven approach to build a cohesive portfolio of grants that advances RCF’s goal of eliminating the racial homeownership gap.

About the Role

Apply a data-driven approach to cultivating investment opportunities that align with the organization’s strategy, mission and values.Manage grants throughout their lifespan in Salesforce and steward the relationship with grantees.Set strategic, measurable, achievable, relevant and time-bound (SMART) goals and then implement a work plan to achieve them.Identify both qualitative and quantitative success measurers and work alongside partners and the operations team to track impact.Proactively manage risks by identifying and escalating challenges along with recommended solutions.Stay curious about the issue area, trends and changing landscape to best inform organizational strategy and investments.Maintain communication flow between community partners and internal teams.Coordinate with internal teams such as Marketing and Communications to develop storytelling opportunities that build awareness of our programs, initiatives and impact.Maintain alignment mission and values with the ability to demonstrate that commitment in daily interactionsCoach and mentor others both internal and external to the organization.Pursue opportunities to serve as a thought leader for your portfolio’s issue area.Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders for program-level decision making.

About You

Minimum Qualifications

5 years of project and/or management experience in philanthropic, government, or non-profit spacesExperience partnering with diverse stakeholder groups such as government, community development, and philanthropic fundersExceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with individuals at al levels of an organization, including executive leadershipDemonstrated ability to understand and respond to clients’ needs in rapidly changing business environments in a way that also aligns with the organization’s goals and strategies.Demonstrated ability to set, meet and reflect on complex program goals, milestones and outcomes as well as to pivot tactics when appropriate.Demonstrated ability to use data to identify opportunities that drive systemic change.Demonstrated ability to assess problems and solve them with a strong sense of urgency, while thinking strategically and focusing on impact and scale.Successful experience leading teams and/or coaching and mentoring team members or peersDemonstrated ability to serve as a thought leader both internally and externally.

Preferred Qualifications

7 years of philanthropic program management or program managementProficiency in communicating and breaking down higher-level, complex strategy.Proficiency with key technologies including Microsoft Office Suite, Slack, Salesforce and WorkdayDemonstrated understanding of housing markets, affordable mortgage products and down payment assistance, and mortgage underwriting criteria.Interest in collaborating with Rocket Mortgage teams to mitigate barriers to homebuying, especially for Black and Hispanic households.
