Role description:
Work closely with the Associate BA Program Manager, with support from the BA Operations Director. Collaborate with the BU Places Management Team, especially the BA Sales and Operations Directors, to drive Global Excellence Centers (GEC) growth, performance efficiency, and US Places Strategy alignment by influencing BA Project Managers and Business Unit Leaders.
The Sr. Program Manager key initiatives for the US Places Business Area, working closely with the BA Sales and Operations Directors to advance strategic goals.
As a trusted advisor, the Sr. Program Manager must navigate fast-paced, dynamic environments, manage stakeholders, and influence outcomes effectively.
Role accountabilities:
Lead and support delivery of strategic initiatives for US Places Strategy, collaborating with the Places Management Team and influencing outcomes with stakeholders. Define and deliver structured plans for key focus areas, particularly those with ambiguity, while driving action and communicating plans effectively. Act as a role model for the Global Excellence Centers (GEC) operating model, improving Global Excellence Centers (GEC) interaction, particularly with low-engagement units, and supporting BA leaders and Project Managers. Track and monitor Global Excellence Centers (GEC) KPIs, ensuring target achievement, and facilitate regular meetings to review metrics, share best practices, and propose improvements. Ensure compliance with Arcadis processes, follow up on Global Excellence Centers (GEC) participation, and hold leaders accountable for performance restoration where needed.Qualifications & Experience:
Strong leadership experience in growing teams within multinational engineering or professional services firms, with 5-8 years of relevant experience and long-term growth potential. Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) in English, with the ability to work well under ambiguity, in fast-paced environments, and with diverse leadership styles. Resilient, flexible, and proactive, able to work independently, prioritize complex tasks, and adapt to shifting company needs. Skilled at building strong relationships across international networks and stakeholders, with a high level of discretion and attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Excel) and other digital platforms (Power BI, Smartsheet, Power Apps), with willingness to work flexible hours to align with the US time zone.Why Arcadis?
