**The Sr. Program Manager has extensive experience and advanced expertise in managing multiple complex initiatives in both an agile and waterfall way within the Technology group. This senior role is able to excel at managing projects and guiding teams as they transition from waterfall to agile delivery. They are creative problem solvers and are a trusted partner always looking for opportunities to add value. They support and mentor members of both the program for which they are responsible as well as for other staff within their functional organization. He /she will work with senior management (and stakeholders) across multiple Business Units and Departments to ensure that the value of projects within the program are realized incrementally as agreed and committed to by members of the program. They will also effectively communicate project status and risks/issues that might impact milestones bridging the gap between waterfall and agile delivery. In addition, as a senior member of the organization within the assigned location, the Sr. Program Manager will be responsible for ensuring administrative and logistical policies and processes are being followed and will also mentor / guide project staff outside their specific program(s).**

**Job responsibilities:**
+ **Is a senior leader in his / her physical location ensuring administrative activities are being given appropriate priority**
+ **Mentors less experienced staff in project management and agile delivery**
+ **Represents group’s leadership as needed**
+ **Facilitates requirements and scope definition. Collaborates with leaders and project team members in translating strategy and vision into actionable programs and projects.**
+ **Maintains an integrated Project Plan using appropriate tools such as, but not limited to Smartsheets, Planview, Jira, etc.,, ensuring adherence to standards and alignment with goals.**
+ **Works with the Technical Lead to define resources, milestones, goals, reporting and metrics for project / program implementation.**
+ **Works with the Technical Lead to create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning.**
+ **Facilitates global project teams and manages conflict.**
+ **Conducts periodic briefings/status updates to stakeholders and executive management**
+ **Supports product owners, scrum masters and agile coaches in meeting objectives and following agile principles and practices**
+ **Ensures that the project is completed on time and meets established goals and objectives that support the financial and competitive goals of the organization.**
+ **Manages and tracks project budget with components that include human resources, suppliers, and general expenses to meet established return on investments per project.**
+ **Works with the team to ensure that defects are tracked; provides reporting as requested. Manages overall quality of deliverables and Captures and documents lessons learned.**
+ **Guides and coaches project managers and program members in agile concepts and best practices**
**Job Requirements:**
+ **15+** **years project management experience managing all phases of multifaceted IT projects with day to day project management proven expertise.**
+ **5+ years agile program delivery**
+ **5+ years of experience in a direct supervisory role of multiple people**
+ **Experience working with and balancing deliverables from multiple teams and ensuring approvals prior to launch from those teams in order to deliver to scope, on time.**
+ **Manage critical cross-program dependencies and risks.**
+ **Experience managing projects across multiple timezones with remote resources**
+ **Proven ability to communicate effectively across all levels of expertise in business and IT.**
+ **Experience with workflow management, agile tools like Jira, SmartSheets, Trello, etc.**
+ **Budget and resource allocation management and forecasting**
+ **Experience ensuring overall KPIs are captured for projects that are metrics driven, baselined and measurable.**
+ **Degree level education preferred**
+ **Scrum, Kanban or related certification is preferred**
+ **Experience scaling agile teams and delivering programs with teams of teams**
+ **SAFe experience / certification a plus**

Job Category:
Pay Range: 190000 - 220000
