Koniag IT Systems, LLC currently has an opening for an experienced Senior Program Manager to fill a role as the Program Manager for an 85-person contract with the Department of Defense Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD). This opportunity offers the chance to work with some of the best and brightest minds in the Department of Defense and US Industry to develop, implement, and transition information technology (IT) and artificial intelligence (AI) capability across the Department. The Senior Program Manager will manage the day-to-day activities, personnel action, subcontracting, and reporting for this 85-person contract. The Sr. PM will handle on site contract execution and ensure the staff’s focus on assisting the Department of Defense achieve its mission. This position requires a person with impeccable communication skills, executive savvy, multitasking abilities, superior professional demeanor, and the ability to accomplish a wide variety of day-to-day responsibilities to ensure program success while ensuring all corporate reporting is completed. **Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:** + Day to day, on site management and oversight of a 85 person staff providing support to all aspects of operations, engineering, development, and project oversight support for the customer’s organization. + Manage all personnel actions across the entire staff. + Manage all subcontractors and subcontracting actions for the entire contract. + Ensure the establishment and management of acceptance criteria with government. + Ensure contract deliveries meet contract requirements. + Management of hiring and onboarding of all personnel. + Support meetings with government customer regarding existing and evolving requirements. + Manage growth of the services and ensure that staffing is able to meet all requirements. + Ensure all required contract and service documentation is completed and up to date. + Manage contract wide funding and funds execution. + Manage relations with the direct customers. + Participate in discussions regarding future projects. + Manage all corporate reporting and interfaces for the program **Requirements:** + Active TS/SCI Clearnce + 15+ years of experience, 8 years of that experience must be as a manager. + 8+ years of DoD experience, 4 years of which must be supporting OSD. + A functional understanding of data, data analytics, AI and ML technologies and their benefits. + Experience managing Agile development. + Experience in large highly dynamic organizations. + Experience developing technical correspondences, project documentation, presentations, reports, and other professional documents. + Extensive experience managing professional services delivery to a government customer. + Highly proficient in MS Excel. + Deep experience managing/balancing cost, schedule and performance. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a high level of integrity, critical thinking, and leadership courage. + Must be a self-starter that can recognize needs and act with little to no guidance. + Ability rapidly understand and apply new concepts. + Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities. + Advanced MS Word skills; proficient PowerPoint, and Outlook application skills. + Experience standing up new governmental organizations desired. + Must hold a PMP to be considered. **Education:** + Bachelor’s degree in management, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline. Master’s degree preferred. **Security Pre-Requisite:** + To be considered, must have a CURRENT/ACTIVE TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance to be considered. **Working Environment & Conditions** This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
