GENERAL DESCRIPTION\n
The Senior Program Manager (PgM) is responsible for the coordinated management of multiple related projects in support of an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. This position is responsible for ensuring that each Task Order\/Delivery Order project under the Base IDIQ produces the required deliverables within the specified constraints of time and cost and to achieve the potential benefits defined in the Statement of Work. The Senior PgM is the Tyonek representative to the US Government customer. The PgM will have the overall responsibility to ensure each project supporting the customer has the requisite resources that are qualified and certified to satisfy customer requirements. This includes management of issues, risks, and change requests to ensure successful and on-time CDRL delivery. Contributes to corporate and program process improvement initiatives. Leads a diverse team of employees and works to develop the next generation of Tyonek employees. This position will be responsible for the development of business opportunities and proposal preparation in support of this IDIQ. May require up to 10% travel including OCONUS.\n
DUTIES\n\nWorks with assigned Project Managers to monitor and control cost, schedule and technical performance of projects.\nCoordinates with the functional departments to meet requirements of the contract and statement of work. \nCommunicates with customers on schedules, meetings, risks and issues. Keeps the customer and company management informed of program performance.\nCommunicates goals, scope, approach, and schedules to assigned personnel.\nConstantly assesses program performance and reports progress. \nManage on-time delivery of CDRLs. \nEstablishes and manages budgets.\nForecasts and coordinates manpower requirements.\nLeads and evaluates subordinate managers and other staff. Provides supervision\/management\/mentorship.\nOverall responsibility for compliance to all company, federal, state, and local processes, procedures, and regulations.\nOther Duties as Assigned\n\n
EDUCATION\/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS \n\nBachelor's Degree in related area of academic study, from an accredited college or university is required, Master's Degree preferred.\n10 years experience in managing programs with increasing responsibility and greater than $25M in value.\n5 years' experience in government contracting; interpretation of contracts, statements of work\/performance work statements, and contract modifications.\nMust be knowledgeable of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and DFAR, Department of Defense (DoD) regulations, requirements, policies\/procedures.\nExperience developing a time-phased spend plan, tracking performance against the budget and managing a project to the plan.\nExperience developing and managing Integrated Master Plans and Integrated Master Schedules.\nEarned Value Management experience desired.\nDemonstrated ability to write Statements of Work\/Objectives (SOW\/SOO), Subcontractor SOW\nDemonstrated contract and design change control and management experience on DoD projects.\nDemonstrated experience in formal risk management on DoD projects.\nMust possess superior communication skills with experience in interfacing directly with the government Contracting Officers, Contracting Officer's Representatives, and customer-designated representatives.\nInnovation, flexibility, and initiative are important attributes, as well as the ability to work under unusual or extreme pressures.\nAbility to obtain and maintain Secret Security Clearance. Active Secret or higher security clearance desired.\nProject or Program Management Professional (PMP or PgMP) certification or equivalent desired.\nMilitary experience desired with specialization in Army Aviation Maintenance and\/or Logistics preferred. \nExperience in the marketing and capture of new business.\nExperience in developing, authoring, and implementation of processes in a project environment involving multiple functional areas.\nWe maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing.\n\n
