Job Description:

This is an onsite/hybrid/remote position located in Champaign, Illinois.

 

We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead and oversee the execution of complex, cross-functional programs that align with organizational objectives. The Senior Program Manager will be responsible for ensuring successful program delivery by managing multiple projects, engaging with stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement. This role demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, and exceptional communication skills.

Program Leadership: Define program objectives, scope, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders and ensure alignment with organizational goals.Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive program plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently across projects.Resource Negotiation and Allocation: Collaborate with department leaders and cross-functional teams to negotiate and secure the necessary resources for successful program delivery. Effectively balance competing priorities and align resource allocation with program requirements.Project Oversight: Manage multiple interdependent projects, monitor progress, resolve risks and issues, and ensure consistent delivery.Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and external partners to foster collaboration and drive program success.Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize program disruptions.Performance Tracking: Establish KPIs to monitor and measure program performance and ensure continuous improvement.Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to project managers and cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.Communication: Deliver regular updates to stakeholders and executive leadership on program progress, challenges, and achievements.Compliance and Governance: Ensure that all program activities adhere to organizational policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.

 

 

Required Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).7+ years of experience in program management or related roles, with a proven track record of managing large-scale, cross-functional programs.PMP, PgMP, or other relevant certifications.Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.Demonstrated ability to negotiate for and allocate resources effectively to achieve program objectives.Proficiency in program and project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, JIRA).

 

 

 

Desired Qualifications:

Experience managing enterprise-wide programs in [specific industry, e.g., telecommunications, technology].Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and other project management methodologies.Familiarity with change management principles and practices.

Compensation & Benefits:

The salary range for this position is: $138,000-$177,000/annually

 

Actual base pay for this job will depend on the candidate's primary work location and other factors, such as relevant skills and experience. Pavlov Media is committed to complying with the Equal Pay Act and places a strong emphasis on internal equity when determining compensation. Final pay will be determined based on the candidate’s skills, experience, and alignment with our internal equity standards, ensuring fairness and consistency across the organization. The salary banding for this role also allows room for growth, with opportunities for pay increases within the band based on performance and contributions.
