HII Mission Technologies is looking to hire a driven Senior Program Manager to provide onsite planning support for the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, Air Delivered Directorate in Albuquerque, New Mexico. • Serve as the overall Team Lead and the single point of contact for the Contracting Officer and their Representative.
• Provide, coordinate, and manage programmatic, acquisitions, sustainment, logistic, engineering, and scientific program support services to government customers.
• Provide oversight of program cost, schedule, and performance, as well as effective allocation of personnel resources, supervision, and contract management.
• Provide day-to-day on-site Program Management support services that include, but are not limited to, assisting the Directorate Staff in acquisition and sustainment activities, writing and reviewing program documents, tracking contracting actions, creating and reviewing travel authorizations, and additional administrative support assigned by the Division Chief and Branch Chiefs.
• Provide and apply expert knowledge of DoD acquisition processes, analytical methods, and techniques.
• Create, implement, and sustain improvements related to acquisition and sustainment effectiveness and compliance.
• Provide program risk management for Directorate programs, including the Weapons Storage and Security System program, Vault Modernization Program, and Disablement Management System Modernization program.
• Coordinate and manage meeting logistics, note-taking, action item management, and attendance accountability, including program communications for assigned Directorate program meetings and provide technical and programmatic interchanges.
• Professional Experience: 6 years relevant experience with a Bachelor's in a related field; 4 years relevant experience with a Master's in a related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
• Clearance: Possess and maintain an active Secret Security Clearance or higher.
• Program Management: Manage the overall program, providing strategic direction, planning, and execution to ensure the successful delivery of all projects and contract deliverables.
• Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships, and ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the duration of the contract.
• Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation, in collaboration with project teams and key stakeholders.
• Resource Management: Effectively allocate and manage resources across multiple projects to optimize productivity and deliver results within defined constraints.
• Risk Management: Identify and assess risks associated with the program and individual projects, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize their impact. Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure adherence to financial guidelines, providing regular reports to stakeholders and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures and ensure compliance with contract requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines to deliver high-quality deliverables.
• Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a diverse team of project managers, engineers, analysts, and other professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Performance Monitoring: Establish performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress, track project milestones, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Contract Compliance: Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations, including reporting requirements, deliverables, and any applicable regulations or legal obligations.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous process improvement initiatives, identify areas for enhancement, and implement best practices to streamline operations and increase efficiency.
• Possess 10 or more years of experience managing projects of similar size, scope and complexity with at least a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical engineering field, business, or management.
• Available to start within 2-3 weeks of accepting position.
• 5 years or more of experience supporting the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, Air Delivered Directorate.
• Possess experience in establishing and managing a Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages program.
• Proficient in MS Project and possess 5 or more years of experience creating and managing program schedules.
