As a Senior Program Scheduler you will be responsible for the delivery of the allocated program work scope and to contribute to its overall successful program execution. This includes the planning, implementation and management of project deliverables, the definition collection and reporting of project metrics (engineering performance, schedule, costs, dependencies, resources) the management of any additional allocated work scope and resources, and the identification of issues and risks to the D&S Program Director as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Ensure the scope for the allocated program scope is delivered in accordance with contemporary Program Management Best Practices with the combined Australian and US teams.·         Ensure program technical compliance, schedule and earned value in accordance with program requirements.·         Deliver and maintain project schedules using tools like MS Projects.·         Collaborate to create an accurate performance measurement baseline (PMB).·         Form Variance Analysis and report on schedule progress against the PMB.·         Develop and maintain an earned value management (EVM) reporting and deliverables.·         Maintain schedule risk assessments and ensure schedule health using relevant tools.·         Oversee integrated baseline reviews and other project review processes.·         Ensure adherence to project management processes and assist in finance related analysis as required.·         Deliver comprehensive plans to ensure program success.·         Definition, collection and reporting of project metrics (engineering performance, schedule, costs, dependencies, resources).·         Definition of key project metrics in consultation with the broader program team.·         Engaging with the broader program team for the collection of project metrics.·         Reporting of project metrics (preparation of presentations and reports).·         Identification of risks and issues through review of program performance.·         Maintain and develop high quality relationships with management, the leadership team and staff of Honeywell, and key stakeholders to ensure quality and timely delivery of programs outcomes. ·         Fulfil other duties and responsibilities that may be required as determined with your manager from time to time.

Key Experience & Capabilities:

·         Proven experience (10+ years) in Project/Program Scheduling;·         Tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering or a related discipline;·         Have excellent written English communication skills using engineering terminology; ·         Substantial experience in scheduling complex projects using PM methodologies in a variety of environments, along with demonstrated experience in the development and delivery of systems/products, where these may be complex in nature;·         Must have experience using MS Office, Projects, Primavera P6, and relevant scheduling software;·         Must have prior defence program experience; ·         Must currently hold at least NV1 Australian Security Clearance (NV2 clearance is preferred); and·         Experience in military or submarine system design (prior Navy experience is preferred);·         Experience working on ASDEFCON programs;·         Experience in interpreting complex project performance specifications; and·         Ability to travel domestically and internationally if required
