HTV Charlotte is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Program Specialist to enhance our Ad Tech Operations team. This role demands subject matter expertise in programming, orders, station operations, content distribution, and continuity, positioning you as a pivotal contributor to our operational success. With a focus on professional development, leadership, and strategic thinking, this position provides a trajectory towards future leadership roles within the organization.
Responsibilities
Oversee program scheduling and maintain standardized coding practices. Ensure format templates maximize commercial inventory and maintain on-air excellence. Schedule program changes (network, local, and syndicated) for stations; Review network and local schedules and formats for revisions needed to daily log. Interpret multiple pieces of information from many different sources – ie. Station grids, networks, e-mails, etc. Review daily formats for HTV banned spots and communicate how necessary. Engage in leadership meetings, providing mentorship and strategic insights to peers. Aid in the professional development of the team. Create and implement training strategies to foster talents and streamline operational processes. Function as the primary contact for program-related queries, building relationships with stations and refining communication channels. Evaluate and improve workflow processes, ensuring alignment with industry standards. Collaborate with management on tasks and projects, driving operational initiatives forward.Requirements
Proven success in Ad Ops specialties, including but not limited to orders, station specialist, content distribution, and continuity. Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute tasks efficiently. Strong capacity for mentoring, training, and leading teams towards achieving strategic goals. Ability to analyze complex issues, provide solutions, and enhance operational strategy. Strong knowledge of the WideOrbit traffic system. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). A detail-oriented mindset with exceptional organizational skills.
