Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Programme Lead to support the growth of our retrofit team in relation to recent projects wins in the East Midlands. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting:Report directly to the Project Director.Provide regular progress updates in senior leadership meetings.Data Management:Ensure accurate data is presented through the project dashboard.Maintain up-to-date project documentation.Customer Liaison:Liaise with customers and support visits and inspections as required.Address customer concerns and ensure their requirements are met.Issue Escalation:Act as the point of escalation for critical issues on the project.Implement solutions to resolve issues promptly.Team Leadership:Lead the project team to ensure successful project delivery.Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.Project Planning and Execution:Develop and implement detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure all project activities are aligned and integrated.Risk and Issue Management:Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.Maintain a risk register and ensure all risks are regularly reviewed and updated.Quality Assurance:Ensure all project deliverables meet the required quality standards and comply with relevant regulations and industry best practices.Conduct regular quality audits and implement corrective actions as needed.Resource Management:Allocate resources effectively to ensure project deliverables are met within the agreed timelines.Identify and address any resource constraints or conflicts.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Education: HNC/HND or equivalent level qualification in a relevant field.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably in Rolling Stock or similar engineering projects.Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
