Senior Programme Manager
Salary: £42,750 per annum + good range of benefits
Contract: Permanernt
Hours: Full time - 36.5 hours per week.

Job Purpose:
The Senior Programme Manager (SPM) will manage a portfolio of complex programmes, ensuring they achieve impact for the most vulnerable children. This includes overseeing programme implementation, managing risks, ensuring compliance with donor expectations, and leading donor-facing interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the implementation of complex programmes, including consortium projects in fragile settings.Ensure programmes are delivered on time, on budget, and meet agreed results.Monitor programme performance and manage risks effectively.Lead financial and contractual elements of programme management.Coordinate with partners to ensure integrated programme delivery.Manage donor relationships and reporting.Promote localisation and fulfilment of ‘Grand Bargain’ commitments.Represent programmes at strategic levels within the UK Government and other stakeholders.Travel to programme locations, including fragile contexts, up to 30% of the time.Person Specification:
Postgraduate degree in a relevant field or significant relevant experience.Significant experience managing international development/humanitarian programmes in fragile contexts.Project Management qualification preferred.Strong financial management and budgeting skills.Proven experience in grant acquisition and adaptive programme management.Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.Experience working with consortium partners and institutional donors.Strong understanding of inclusion of marginalised groups and localisation.Willingness to travel to fragile locations and complete Hostile Environments Awareness Training (HEAT) if not already qualified.Additional languages an advantageAs an active Christian, this role offers you the opportunity to integrate your Christian faith and be sensitive to its various expressions across cultures and denominations.
