Acentra seeks a Senior Programmer - Architect to join our growing team.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Sr. Health Intelligence Programmer / Data Architect with a strong background in AWS cloud technologies, data transformation, and data modeling. The candidate will play a key role in migrating and optimizing our data infrastructure to AWS, while also enhancing and maintaining core data processing platforms. This role is crucial in driving business solutions by building data models and actionable reporting, with a focus on leveraging AWS resources for advanced analytics.

Job Responsibilities: 

Lead the migration and optimization of data platforms to AWS, leveraging AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Glue, and Lambda. Query and analyze existing databases to pull data necessary for reporting and transformation. Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable data processing platforms in AWS. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather and document business requirements. Architect and implement data pipelines and ETL processes using AWS tools for data modeling and advanced analytics. Optimize and debug complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and AWS data transformation tools. Research data discrepancies and troubleshoot AWS data services, SQL queries, SSIS packages, views, and stored procedures. Create and implement new database objects and data models through scripting in an AWS environment. Mentor junior programmers and serve as a subject matter expert in AWS data architecture. Design and develop complex queries, ETL jobs, and data transformation workflows to support business intelligence.
