Job Description
This Project Accounting Manager will be responsible for supporting an engineering firm by overseeing the financial aspects of multiple projects. Your primary responsibilities will include managing project budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure alignment with the firm's financial goals. You will monitor project expenditures closely, ensuring adherence to budgets and tracking costs meticulously. Additionally, you will manage the billing and invoicing processes, preparing invoices and ensuring timely payments. You will also be conducting earned revenue analysis and applying percentage of completion accounting methods. This will involve assessing the progress of projects and recognizing revenue based on the completion percentage, ensuring accurate financial representation of ongoing projects. Collaboration with project managers will be essential, as you work together to develop and maintain project budgets, providing valuable financial insights to support decision-making. You will prepare and present detailed financial reports to project managers and senior management, offering a clear picture of the financial health of each project. Your role will also involve leading project cost management efforts, including tracking expenses and reviewing change orders to maintain financial control.

100% remote. Work from anywhere in the US. If located on the west coast, must be okay with working east coast hours.

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $90.00
