Senior Project Architect
ZGF is seeking a dynamic and well-rounded Senior Project Architect to join the team in our Denver, CO office. We are looking for thoughtful individuals with excellent communication and technical skills. The ideal candidate will have between 15-20+ years of professional experience and will bring design excellence to every project.  As a Senior Project Architect, you will…  + Are a leader with the skills and experience necessary to act effectively as a Project Architect on complex projects  + Display a passion and proficiency for architectural detailing and technical design  + Are self-directed, take initiative and seek thoughtful solutions for design execution  + Have relevant experience with complex, multi-phase projects in healthcare, mixed-use, civic, government, institutional research facilities, aviation, sports and/or higher education.  + Have the ability to develop and maintain effective, collaborative working relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors  + Are responsible for the effective performance of the project team regarding project quality, schedule, budget, selection of items for investigation, and development of novel concepts and methods  + Have a deep understanding of building enclosures, waterproofing, building systems, zoning, energy codes, ADA, construction standards, and other regulatory requirements.  + Manage and mentor team members from concept design through construction.  + Act as a mentor to the entire Denver office leading QA/QC efforts on multiple projects in collaboration with the firmwide QA/QC team.   + Are energized to create something new every day and eager to collaborate in a team environment  + Contribute to general office-wide initiatives    Qualifications:   + Professional Architectural degree and a minimum of 15-20+ years of related experience  + Architectural licensure and Revit modeling proficiency are required  + Well-rounded, strategic-thinker with an integrated approach to design, management and technical project resolution  + Highly motivated, proactive, passionate, and resilient  + Well-organized and detail-oriented, proven ability to manage multiple tasks at a time and in developing project work plans that adapt to changing project conditions while ensuring overall team success.   + Excellent team communication skills,   + Experience in a variety of building types, building materials, technical design, and construction techniques  + Significant knowledge, expertise and initiative to explore and carry out new or complex assignments requiring the development of innovative techniques and procedures  + Demonstrated leadership, management, and communication skills  + Ability to navigate complex situations requiring diplomacy, interpersonal skills and judgement  + Ability to perceive the goals of others, help to set priorities on projects and initiatives, and positively motivate individuals within the context of projects and the firm  + Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships outside the project team and the firm Experience in Design-Build, Design Bid Build, CMGC and other forms of project delivery  Base Salary Range $96.000/yr - $128.000/yr Benefits ZGF Employees Enjoy Medical, Dental and Vision coverage with a generous employer contribution, HSA with employer contribution, 401k with employer match, 4 weeks of PTO and 10 paid holidays per year, paid parental and family leave programs.
