Overview:

Fulfilling Department of State's (DOS) requirement to provide best-in-class technical security engineering, design, installation, maintenance, repair, and project management services in support of the U.S. Department of State (the Department or DOS), Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS), Office of Security Technology (ST). In this role you will get to help ensure that the overseas security installation projects run smoothly and meet their objectives.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination: Monitor project milestones and deliverables to ensure they are on track. Logistics Management and Tracking: Ensure all materials are shipped while verifying quantities and specifications. Shipment and Tracking: Use tracking systems to monitor the location of materials in real-time. Log Entries: Maintain a log of all materials. Reporting: Prepare reports on material movement, delivery status, and any issues encountered. Provide updates to project managers and stakeholders.

Education and/or Experience:

·       Bachelor’s Degree

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to comprehend project plans and complex construction related schedules. Ability to review construction related bill of materials. Ability to perform data entry into purchase requisition system. Ability to track and report on the status of material requisitions. Ability to track and report on the status of shipments. Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with multiple stakeholders. Ability to monitor and report on construction project schedules. Ability to complete the required reporting and project documentation. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Security Clearance:

Possess or be able to obtain/maintain a SECRET security clearance. Must be a U.S. Citizen.  Must be able to maintain required Security Clearance/access approvals. 

 

Physical Demands:

The physical demands that will be required inside the work place and for the position.  Must lift, will sit, answer the phone, type on a keyboard, move files, etc.

 

Travel:
