Senior Project Coordinator
You are a Senior Project Coordinator who is responsible for completing a wide range of tasks, assisting operations staff in the implementation of agreed project plans, ensuring completion on time and within budget. Working independently or with limited supervision, you apply knowledge and skills to resolve a variety of issues and works collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to achieve team goals throughout the project lifecycle.

Essential Responsibilities:

Promotes Ledcor safety culture on the project by taking an active role in the implementation of the Project Specific Safety Program (PSSP) to achieve compliance with corporate safety manuals and all regulatory boards and authorities.Assists with implementing, coordinating, and maintaining Ledcor systems and procedures in accordance with project specifications and requirementsActs as a mentor to team members performing general project coordination and administration dutiesAnalyzes project milestones and financial deadlines, and the impact of critical pathWorks with project team to identify and manage opportunities and risks to achieve the best possible impact on schedule and financial targetsDevelops and manages projects with limited risk and resource requirements, or segments of larger projects.Facilitates project meetings with internal and external stakeholders to monitor and support the project’s ongoing progressionAssists with ensuring subcontractor compliance with Inspection Test Plans, construction drawings and procedures, and other quality documents applicable to the work being performedManages project-related inquiries or escalations and provides appropriate responses in a timely mannerLeads the change order process, analyzes changes to drawing to assess impacts, and assists with contract negotiations.Prepares detailed analysis or review of aspects of the project as may be requiredOverall support of the design-build process

Qualifications:

6+ years related work experience, or combination of relevant education and experience.Comprehensive knowledge of construction documents, drawings, and specifications; comprehensive knowledge of current construction practices and methodologyWorking knowledge of construction office processes including project set-up, subcontract management, change orders, RFIs, lien holdbacks and closeoutStrong computer background, including experience with MS Word, Excel and scheduling softwareAbility to motivate, coach and guide other team members clearly and persuasivelyAbility to communicate clearly and respond to project stakeholder requests in typical situations; able to anticipates client needs and proactively identifies solutions to nonstandard task/queriesWillingness to contribute actively in team discussions, sharing experiences and ideas

Work Conditions:

This is a hybrid work position where you will be required to be in office multiple times a week
